Art Residential with Nina Squire

Date:
September 29, 2025 - October 1, 2025
This three-day art break is designed for discerning guests who appreciate beauty, heritage, and the art of slowing down to truly see their surroundings. With every detail at The Priory designed to be a feast for the senses, participants will enjoy an inspiring and artistic experience.

What to Expect:

Nina works with aspiring creatives, complete beginners, and those who want to develop their skills further. The intimate class size ensures a personalised creative experience, allowing you to develop your skills with confidence and leave inspired, equipped with the knowledge to continue your artistic journey.

As a practicing artist, Nina knows the value of creativity. She said, "Art is more than an expression—it is a way of seeing, feeling, and experiencing the world. In the quiet act of creation, we find a rare kind of luxury: a moment of stillness, a deep connection to place, and the joy of bringing beauty to life."

As Edgar Degas so aptly said, "Art is not what you see, but what you make others see."

Here is what was said after our May residential:

One guest described it as “pure luxury”—not just in terms of the setting, but in the experience as a whole. Each detail was thoughtfully considered, from the peaceful studio space to the delicious meals that, in another guest’s words, were “visually stunning and ambrosia to eat.”

10am-4pm Monday - Wednesday (a slightly earlier finish on the last day to help with travel plans).

A beautiful stay at The Priory with breakfast, delicious lunch, and 3 course Table d'Hote candlelit dinner, as a group, each day.

All materials are provided – including a lovely set of Unison Colour pastels, sketchbook, and a small frame to take your finished artwork home in a Priory tote.
