Between 7:15 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., where our esteemed Restaurant Manager and his expert team will guide you through an unforgettable evening, culminating in a traditional toast to welcome the New Year at midnight.

Before the celebrations begin, enjoy pre-dinner drinks and exquisite canapés in the elegant Drawing Room and Cloisters Bar, accompanied by the delightful melodies of our resident pianist, Julie Lewis, performing a mix of jazz and classical favourites. At 8:00 p.m., you’ll be seated to indulge in our decadent 5-Course Gala Dinner, crafted to perfection by Head Chef Stephan Guinebault and his talented team. Throughout the evening, expect to be enchanted by captivating, close-up table magic for an extra touch of wonder.

We are delighted to offer a special rate from £100.00 ‘b&b’ per person  (2 sharing, based on smaller bedrooms) for guests wishing to stay overnight, subject to availability. Advance reservations are required, and rooms are allocated on arrival.  
Telephone first to make a booking. Bookings must then be confirmed using this booking form. Any amendments to guest numbers and pre-ordered menu choices must be received no later than 1 week in advance and we reserve the right to charge the full menu price for any reduction in numbers after this time. Full payment is required on the day.

New Year Itinerary for 30th – 2nd

30th December

Upon your arrival today, after settling into your room or suite, you may wish to enjoy a leisurely lunch or unwind by the fire in the Drawing Room with afternoon tea, served from 3:30 p.m.
Our afternoon tea menu features an array of indulgent delights, including Tea with Apple Cake, a traditional ‘Dorset Cream Tea’ with homemade scones, jam, and clotted cream, or The Priory’s signature ‘Ritzy Tea,’ accompanied by scones, cakes, and pastries. Dinner is served between 7:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., beginning with pre-dinner drinks and a selection of freshly prepared canapés in the Drawing Room and Cloisters Bar.

2024 New Year Tariff 30th – 2nd

Rooms are available for a minimum of 2 nights over the New Year period, either 30th and 31st, or 31st and 1st. Room rates are for a 2 nights’ stay (total for 2 persons) and include Accommodation, Table D’Hote Dinner (4-Course Menu on New Year’s Eve followed by a Champagne ‘toast’ at midnight), Full English Breakfast, and V.A.T. For guests wishing to stay longer, our normal room rates apply.
